Today I'll be reviewing THE TBS product which has been their Best Seller and MY SUPERHERO <3 for quite a while AND THE PRODUCT IS Tea tree oil.AS THE BODY SHOP IS CELEBRATING 20TH YEARS OF TEATREE  SO I THOUGHT OF WISHING THEIR TEA TREE RANGE THROUGH MY BLOG <3 AS IT IS MY SUperHERO <3   .                                   LET's start with what it is actually ???

 

WHAT IS TEA TREE OIL ???

ACCORDING TO UWA TEA  TREE OIL RESEARCH GROUP, IT IS THE ESSENTIAL OIL STEAM DISTILLED FROM THE AUSTRALIAN PLANT      ( Melaleuca alternifolia   )
AND IT IS USUALLY CLEAR TO VERY PALE YELLOW IN COLOR AND IT EXUDES A FRESH, CAMPHOR-LIKE SCENT.

            HOW TO USE?SHOW

>Dab a small amount directly onto blemishes using a clean cotton wool bud or your fingertip as preferred.

>For use a bathing additive, add six drops into the bath and disperse with your hand for an aromatic and soothing soak.

>A few drops can also be added to a warm foot bath, to help combat foot odour.

>For facial steaming or inhalation, add three or four drops to a bowl of steaming water, lean over the bowl and cover your head with a towel. Inhale deeply for a few minutes. This will help clear nasal congestion as well as a effective, deep cleansing facial steam for the skin. Follow up with an application ofTea Tree Face Mask for a spa like deep cleansing treatment.

>For use in massage, warm six drops between the palms of your hands and then massage straight onto the skin, applying extra pressure to work tired or tense muscles. If a less intense treatment is preferred, it can be used with a carrier oil.

 Packaging & Availability:

1)Tea Tree Oil comes in a 10 ml DARK GREEN  tinted glass bottle and there is a reason for it as it will prevent light from reducing the oil's  potency.

2)The bottle has a easy nozzle on top which controls the amount of oil.

CONSISTENCY :

1) its a  watery liquid it drys up quickly making it unnoticeable to others.

2)it is a volatile product.

FRAGRANCE :

1) The scent is very minty and stress relieving.

                     2) Camphor like smell.

HOW I USE IT :-

I Usually use it before going to sleep with my fingers onto the targeted pimple spot usually and sometimes i put few drops of it in my steamer and give steam to my face.

FINAL THOUGHTS :-

Ok, so tea tree oil has 100% cleared up my skin, and it definitely didn't happen overnight. But I have tried so many products for my acne that have really damaged my skin, or made it incredibly dry or scarred.Comments about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:I have been using this product since long. I have sporadic acne breakouts, and this is the best spot treatment I have ever come across. When used consistently, the spots are minimized over night, and gone by the end of the week.
